About Neighbourhood Watch

The Neighbourhood Watch Sierra  is fully supported by the Chief of Police and the Mayor of Altea.

The aim of the Sierra Neighbourhood Watch scheme, (Vecinos Cooperando de Sierra) is to achieve a Neighbourhood Watch which covers the whole Sierra, comprising around , 21 Urbanizations, and 15 apartment blocks.

The Sierra Neighbourhood Watch Scheme is not a shortcut to obtaining police attendance more quickly. Neighbourhood Watch is "neighbours looking out for neighbours". In this way, we help the local Police, our community, and ourselves.
